The members of the club have decided on one of their regular meetings, that the informal socializing and the community work will be merged as one for a higher cause – raising awareness among the citizens for clean environmental surroundings. The team has decided that during the weekend, it shall start an activity, open for all Rotarians and their families, as well as for random recreationalists in nature, for which it purchased cleaning supplies and garbage collection bags. The results of the first eco-action motivated the Rotarians to continue with that activity on other locations in a series of organized weekends.
